Key Principles of Success Working with a Marketer

The marketer is the fastest growing position in the agency channel. After all, a good marketer is a revenue generator.

But a lot of marketers don’t work out.

Why? My observation is the following:

  1. Lack of common expectations.
    1. Are they working on Customer Acquisition or Customer Lifetime Value? Where in ACOR is their focus?
    2. No clear objectives or work products.
  2. The principal getting in the way and slowing down progress.
  3. Lack of clear understanding of the skill level and capabilities of the marketer.
