iOS 15 Update...World Is Still Here

I don’t want to use up real estate in this newsletter to detail why iOS 15 is annoying, so I recommend googling “iOS 15 Email Marketing”...

So here is the update regarding this super annoying topic:

iOS 15 adoption has been slow (so far). Roughly 30% adoption rate of iOS 15 as of October 20th Apple has yet to ‘push’ the update aggressively on our devices and you should expect ‘full adoption’ by end of year/January.

The impact on inflated email opens so far has been about 10%. Meaning...because Apple is automatically sending back an ‘open’ for every user of iOS 15 (who opted-in to Mail Privacy Protection) your email Open Rate tracking is inflated about 10% right now (BtoB and BtoC). That will continue to inch up over the next few months. FUN!
